My Quarantine Diary
Day #5:
I woke up on the couch that my sister in law let me use, as were staying with them to help my husband Theo to hope to recover from terrible pneumonia, he had suffered great sickness and had blood clots on all four extremities, also his left foot is really bad condition, due from the blood clots, almost had to remove it, but because of his week heart, that the doctors decided not to remove it, and we are praying for a miracle that he will be healed. We are adjusting well; at my sister-in-law's house, that is a nurse and helps a lot, and other two sisters, are in charge of other things around the house, as there are like about eight or more people, ya eight seems right living at the same house, as for me, I'm not used to living with a large family, this is new for all of us, sometimes we have to sacrifice somethings in order, to bring others well being. Like; that is why, I"m sacrificing, putting off the weekly live stream via Facebook, with Kristin and Bill, nothing against them, is that this is the time for healing and being with family, which is important than investigating, but this is just temporary, and this soon shall pass. If; Theo keeps up with his meals and fluids, he should be about back to normal, for now, he is bedridden, we have to help take care of him, which is fine, I don't mind to help if he has to go to the bathroom or something, or help him eat or drink, but when he poops or has any bowel movements, that is the nurse's job, I couldn't handle that part, to be honest. But hopefully; Theo will heal soon, so we can go back to our house, I also miss my mom and my stepdad and brother, he is going back home tomorrow, so they will have their four dogs to keep them company, I also miss them as well. Today was another good day, we had some company, my stepdad, and bro, brought some more of my things, that I didn't know, how long we were going to be here, so hopefully not too much longer, the hardest part is when I have to be up sometimes during the night, as someone has to watch him like round the clock, or he may fall or jump out of the bed, so far he hasn't fallen off the bed, however, he just wanted to jump out. We do have a wheelchair, and so if he wanted to try to get up and moving around, we can try that next. Today; also happens to be Easter, which I don't really feel much like celebrating, as we're going through a lot of changes, not with our life, but with the world in general. Yesterday; I took a short walk, which felt good, as it was rainy for a while, and it was warm yesterday, unlike today, which is over-cast. I know for one thing; I don't miss doing my regular chores at home!
