A Ghostly Visitor: My Eerie Morning Encounter

This morning, I was jolted awake by something truly unsettling. It was around 3:00 AM, the quintessential witching hour when the veil between the physical and the supernatural is said to be at its thinnest. I had been sleeping soundly. unlike the night before had a horrible vivid nightmare,  when the faintest of sounds began to echo through my room—footsteps.

At first, I thought it might be the house settling or perhaps even a dream. But as the footsteps grew louder and more deliberate, a chilling realization washed over me: someone or something was in my room. My heart pounded in my chest as I strained to see through the darkness. The footsteps seemed to be pacing, almost as if the entity was deciding what to do next.

Then, just as suddenly as they had started, the footsteps stopped. The silence that followed was deafening, leaving me tense and alert. I lay there, barely breathing, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Just as I was beginning to convince myself it was all in my head, a loud tap resonated from my nightstand, startling me.

I shot up in bed, my eyes darting to the source of the sound. My nightstand was as it always was, nothing out of place. The tap had been sharp and intentional, like a knuckle rapping against the wood. I could feel the cold air around me, a sure sign that something otherworldly was present. The atmosphere was thick with an unseen presence, and I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.

Gathering my courage, I reached for the lamp on my nightstand and switched it on, flooding the room with light. There was nothing visible to explain the footsteps or the tapping sound. The room was empty, but the sense of being observed lingered.

I've had my fair share of paranormal experiences, but this one was different. It felt personal, almost as if the ghostly visitor wanted to make its presence known. I couldn't help but wonder what message it was trying to convey. As I sit here writing this, the memory of those eerie footsteps and the loud tap remains vivid, a chilling reminder that we are never truly alone, even in the dead of night.

Being a psychic medium, and seer you think I would not be startled, however I'm still human and I get startled easily, even scared sometimes, but I try not to let my emotions get the best of me. I wonder, because I put my rosary bracelet under my pillow, that subsided the nightmares, however I'm still having ghostly visitations, even while I"m awake, so I know I wasn't dreaming when I had this creepy ghostly morning encounter.
